Creating Space In Your Kitchen

Have you noticed your kitchen space shrinking? Are you running out of room for the items you bring home from the grocery store? Are dishes piling up without cupboard space? Here are a few tips on how you can eliminate the clutter, and find space where you never expected it.

First, look into your storage options. There are plenty of great little hooks, shelves, racks and containers that will organize all of your counters and drawers. You can buy them cheaply at nearly any store that sells home organizational items.

Second, go through your cupboards and get rid of what you will never use. How long has that can of pinto beans been sitting there? Do you really need processed imitation salon chunks? If you don’t need it, donate it to your nearest food bank. If you might be able to use it in the future, put it in your emergency stores.

Third, findome new places that aren’t being used. The top ofyour cupboards, or on top of the fridge, as likely, but seldom used, surfaces. They are especially good for blenders, mixing bowls, small boxes, or appliances that are big and bulky, and so cannot easily be put away.
